I haven't posted a blog in foreverrr. In all honesty, I forgot I had a blogspot account until someone on wearethemaine.net posted that she was making one. I finished 10th grade, and I did pretty good. =] Junior year might academically suck, though. Chemistry and accounting, what was I thinking?? I can safely say this year might kill me. I also might have to actually study, yay for new habits! Anyone else notice my sarcasm? No? Oh well.
I feel wierd posting blogs sometimes, because I know no one read this. So, I'm kind of talking to myself. Everyone has their own way of venting their feelings. I guess mine is hiding behind a computer screen after everyone has gone to sleep. Thats probably a lot of other people's way as well. I feel like I might post a few more blogs tonight or very soon, I've had a lot on my mind lately, and not a lot of people to talk to. (Can someone buy me a thesauras for my birthday, so I can use a word other than 'a lot').
Summer is halfway over, and I really don't want to go back to school. I do want to see all my friends, don't get me wrong. I'm just not ready to carry around a bookbag that weighs more than me, and face the challenges of high school life. I also don't want to go back because once it starts, it ends, then senior year starts and the end of high school gets closer everyday. I don't know where I'm going or what I'm doing, and its driving me insane that I don't know. I'm jealous of the people that picked a career when they were young and have stuck to that goal their entire lives, and were happy with it as well. That is true success in my eyes.

A day late, A buck short...
^Story of my life currently. I think every assignment I've handed in for school has been late in some way. Some of these papers are so late, I don't even think they're worth doing anymore. But I know how badly a 0 can affect my grade. I really just want to throw all my books in a pile, then snuggle up in my bed and sleep until noon. That sounds really nice. Unfortunately, I have to get up at 5:30 and go to school. I'm just waiting for spirit week and hoping the workload lightens up a little bit soon. Getting organized and time management skills in order for school is hard. Its been a month and I'm still not in order. Guess I got to used to floating through like in my 9th grade year, huh? Now I have to work hard and actually do something to get a good grade. And add trying to have a social life- hello stress! From the stories I hear from my parents, they didn't have much homework. So why is there so much for us today? Especially when they say we need at least an hour of physical activity a day. Maybe we can fit it in at midnight, when we finally finish our work and are able to go to bed. No? How about between three essays and a book to read, no? Lets not do it at all? Yes- there are other things that need to get done. Homework, chores, friends and family, theres just not enough time in one day! On a weekday, I get up at 5:30 and don't go to bed until 10 or 11. Thats not enough sleep time.
I need to go so I can get some sleep, even if my homework isn't done. In my opinion, being awake in school is more valuable than turning an assignment in.
(Current homework status: Epic. Fail.)

Emotional Roller Coaster about....
Blue's Clues. That show was my absolute favorite as a kid. So was Bear in the Big Blue House, but thats not important to this blog. The other day, one of my friends told me that Steve Burns, beloved host of the show, had died of drug overdose. It almost made me cry(even though I'm in the 10th grade). Fortunately, he's not dead. He has been working on a music career, hence why he quit Blue's Clues. I was thrilled when I found out he was still alive.
Earlier today, I watched an episode of the new Blue's Clues- I didn't like it. I was happy that they incorporated more sign language, I remember Steve doing some when I was younger. I'm trying to learn ASL, so that was kind of cool for me. Joe just isn't the same as Steve, he doesn't play games with the audience as much as Steve did(i.e. "A clue, a clue!" "Glue, where?"). As an original Steve child, I just wasn't happy about the new show. I remember watching the episode where Steve went off to college, and then I didn't watch it again.
What are your opinions about Steve Burns and the new Blue's Clues?

Welcome!
Yo cheese fries! Welcome to one of the weirdest blogs you'll probably ever read. I'm going to post anything and everything I think is cool. But first, lets learn the basics:
- My name is Sam(Sammitha is a nickname from my English teacher, Mrs. Thompson).
- I am currently 15, this is the oldest I've ever been. =]
- I'm addicted to smileys, you'll see them a lot in my posts.
- My friends/family are my life.
- I'm probably one of the weirdest, and coolest, people you'll ever meet.
- Penguins will take over the world, pure and simple.
Now for the most important(and something everyone should know) of the basics:
- Hungry Jack pancakes at 11:00pm= cooler than Petey the Panda.
Thats all I can think of right now, but I'll be sure to post soon!=P
Peace out cub scout!
